Originally built around 1750 Canal Road is one of a terrace of historical cottages just 6 miles from Oxford and 29 miles from Banbury and on the edge of the Cotswolds region. Thrupp is ideally located for an individual or family looking for a base to stay in the Oxford area from one week to several months.

The entrance to the cottage is off a quiet side road and the main door leads into the living room. The living room is furnished with a 3 seat sofa, sofa chair, gas-fired 'log-burner' and built-in bookshelves and cupboards. The living-room flooring is carpeted.

The living room is connected to the kitchen-dining room at the rear of the cottage (mind your head when you step up into the kitchen!). There is ample work space to prepare meals for a family and you will find the kitchen fully equipped with standard cooking equipment and utensils. There is a washer-dryer, dishwasher, electric oven/hob, fridge freezer and microwave oven. The kitchen floor is tiled and easy to keep clean. The dining area is offset from the kitchen with an oak dining table and six dining chairs.

The stair case to the first floor leads from the living room and the staircase is carpeted. Upstairs you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms consisting of a main, double bedroom and two single rooms with windows overlooking the canal.
