Situation - The village of Lydford is situated within easy driving distance of the town of Okehampton just off the A386, which also links to the historic town of Tavistock and beyond to the city of Plymouth (approximately 45 minutes away). Okehampton and Tavistock offer a wide range of shops, supermarkets and facilities to include schooling from Primary to 6th Form Level. The renowned Mount Kelly school offers private education and is situated on the edge of Tavistock.

Directions - From Okehampton proceed out of the town in a westerly direction heading towards Tavistock on the B3260. Join the A30 dual carriageway and proceed to the next junction Sourton Down whereupon leave heading towards Tavistock. Take the A386 and proceed for approx 4 miles then take the right hand turn towards Lydford, proceed on this road passing the primary school on the left and the war memorial on your right and after a short distance take the next turning left into Silver Street (by bus stop). Go along Silver Street and Bellamead is the 5th entrance on the left hand side.
