This line is 3 stops to Stratford which has links to anywhere in the capitol. The 147 also continues on to Ilford (the next stop after Manor Park overground).
There is a Londis directly across the street which has all basic groceries, top up facilities, civilized staff, coffee machine and yes, a considerable selection of alcohol.
There's a Tesco metro and a Boots on the Romford rd route from Manor Park. There are also more independent fresh grocery stores and takeaway food shops than its realistic to count. The nearest major shopping area is East Ham. We wouldn't class it as fashionable at present ( you'll need to go to Stratford for that ) but it has substantially greater and better laid out shopping and Banking amenities than other areas, which have more snob value but not a lot else eg Forest Gate, Wanstead, Leytonstone, Woodford.
There's a cab station 100metres away.
Significantly pleasant and unexpected park within 5 minutes walk.
