We're really proud of the history. The Bunker used to be packed to the rafters with thousands of Littlewoods Pools coupons -a former gold mine!

In:
1923 - John Moores set up Littlewoods Pools which was based on a game he and two mates used to play.

1938 - Littlewoods Pools became massive! So much so John needed a huge workforce to process all the coupons so he built 'Littlewoods' - a ginormous human computer employing 2,000 people.

1945 - As one of the biggest buildings in the north west Littlewoods was used during WWII to help assemble aeroplane wings and parachutes.

1950 - With the huge database of customers John expanded into homewares and clothing

1969 - Catalogue business was booming and the Bunker was built for extra space.

2003 - Littlewoods Pools moved out and the building sat empty for decades.

2013 - Capital & Centric came up with a plan to bring Liverpool's most iconic building back to life -

Bunker is the first phase.
