It's modern open plan kitchen lounge is decorated with a fun red and green colour scheme and has a handy breakfast bar. The door opens onto the laminate wood flooring hallway with bedrooms the the right and the lounge and kitchen to the rear of the property. The house was freshly painted and had some new items of furniture only last year so is in a great condition. The lounge has more than enough sofa seating with it's large bright red sofas. The kitchen is modern with bright splashbacks and various appliances, there is a full size fridge freezer, washing machine and gas hob and oven. There is also plenty of lighting. The best part about the kitchen however is the breakfast bar and stools which is extremely useful both for extra worktop space for food preparation and to sit around and eat dinner together.
There are three bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms all have carpet and blinds or curtains, and similar furniture including a double or king size bed, wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers, shelving, desk and chair. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a wc, wash basin, shelving for storage and a bath with overhead shower.
The front of the house was stonewashed last year to make is look pristine. There is a storage area at the front of the house for bins and a small garden out the back with rear access.
Tewkesbury Place is only a couple of minutes away from Roath Lake which is great if you fancy getting out of the house and away from the textbooks for a little while! It's about a 20 minute walk to Cardiff University and also great for those studying medical based courses in the Heath Park campus. There is a little corner shop a minute or twos walk away, and a large COOP on Crwys Road. The house is close to both Crwys and Whitchurch road which have a whole host of bus stops to the Heath and city centre, restaurants, cafes, shops and other amenities. Maindy Gym is also only about a 12-15 minute walk away and the nearest train station is less than a mile.
There is no parking with the property, although there is on street parking, some of which is permit holders only. Permits can be applied for by phoning Cardiff Council on 02920872087. Charges are as follows:
