Bath - Welcome to the 'wellbeing' capital of England!

Bath in beautiful Somerset might be 100 miles from London, but it is easy to get to by car, coach and train. And although the city could not be described as a convenient residential place for commuters to the capital, its location makes it the ideal base from where to explore the entire West Country.

Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, Salisbury (with its stunning cathedral), the Cheddar Gorge... all are within easy reach of Bath, making it completely understandable why, every year, home buyers from all over the country flock to the spa city, to find the property of their dreams.

Homes to suit all tastes and budgets

The city was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1987, and much of the property in Bath reflects its quite incomparable historic feel. Mansions; town houses; detached, semi-detached and terraced properties; flats of all sizes and types... Properties to buy (or rent) there can be any of these.

Trains from London's Paddington Station run to Bath Spa train station every half hour (the journey takes 1.5 hours). The city also enjoys excellent access by road, with the M4 taking motorists almost directly into the city centre. The nearest airport is Bristol.

Bath by day and night

The Roman Baths and Pump Room at Bath may have helped to put the city on the map when it comes to drawing visitors annually, but it also boasts plenty of other fabulous sites and attractions.

Bath Abbey, the Jane Austin Centre, and the Avon Valley Wildlife Park can all be found either in or near the city.

There are also three theatres, two cinemas, numerous comedy and music venues, and a varied choice of cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs. A visit to the Thermae Bath Spa makes for a relaxing evening (closes 10pm), and exploring the Roman Baths by torchlight on a summer night can be magical!
