The site forms part of the historic railway line opened initially in 1883 and
named "North Mount Vernon". The railway was closed on 4th October 1964 and

Central Grove, Central Path and Blackcroft Gardens itself. Given the planning
approval of neighbouring sites, it could be reasonable assumed that
investigations could be made to build similar on the site.
