The quaint village of Bodinnick sits on the banks of the river Fowey in South East Cornwall, originally a fishing village it is located on the east bank of the river opposite the tourist town of Fowey. The ferry crossing that operates opposite the Old Ferry Inn is said to have existed since the 13th Century and is an important part of the local infrastructure to this day.
