The street scene on Glasgow Vennel never fails to send me back in time - an old cobbled street, including the flax heckling shop (an old stone cottage) which is a Burns heritage site. Inside, the ambience is good in the old school Italian style, and the atmosphere gets very hale and hearty as the evening progresses with all those Ayrshire families enjoying themselves!... In conclusion, it would take a lot to make me want to try a different restaurant in the Irvine/Kilwinning area.”

Capacity
With 54 covers and a popular takeaway menu, the tables are not crammed into one another. The current menu is varied, offering good Italian fayre with Vegan and Gluten-free options proving popular with the clientele. Current opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12 – 3 pm and 5 – 9 pm, Saturday 12 – 9 pm and Sunday 5 – 9 pm. There is a full bar service.
