The A206 provides access to the South Circular in the west and also to the M25 in the east. Belvedere mainline rail station is on the north Kent, Southeastern trains line providing regular trains to Central London with an approximate journey time of 40 minutes to London Cannon Street.

Belvedere has a population of just under 12,000 (2011 Census).
