At Dales and Peaks Property we are proud to be now in our fourth year of being members of The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA). As an ARLA agent we are licensed by them and have to conform to a strict code of practice and abide by rules of conduct. By choosing and ARLA agent you are also protecting your money as it is covered by a Client Money Protection Scheme. All our staff undergo regular ARLA training to be able to keep abreast with the continual changes in legislation in relation to lettings.

    ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL INVENTORY PROVIDERS (APIP)
    We are qualified members of this scheme to provide Inventories to the highest standard. We undertake these on an Ipad which provides a very thorough and detailed report. This is an essential document for both tenant and landlord. We also undertake our inspections and move outs on the Ipad which provides you with a very quick update of the current state of your property 

    PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN
    We are members of the Property Ombudsman for both lettings and sales. This provides a redress scheme in the unlikely event that things go wrong.

    Dales and Peaks Estate Agents is a family-owned business launched by Sarah and John Currey in 2006. Many years of growth have seen a number of new additions to the team, all of whom share the passion for providing an outstanding service and a professional approach.

    Sarah Currey - Managing Director
    Sarah's career spanned 27 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland. She started out in Dronfield and Chesterfield branch back in the day, but went on to work throughout Derbyshire and Nottingham. In 2001 she was appointed as Area Business Manager for Derbyshire leading a team specialising in commercial funding but predominately property development. Over the years she became well respected for her expertise and customer service. In 2006 she made a huge move and left the bank to start Dales & Peaks with her husband, John. Initially she started off with a couple of properties but many of her property development customers became clients of Dales & Peaks which helped to grow the business into what is today.

    John Currey - Director 
    John has been in the property business since 2006. He is our Energy Performance Assessor and undertakes all of our floor plans. He also oversees our maintenance department for lettings which helps keep everything running smoothly on that side.

    Tom, Sarah and John's youngest son, has always had keen involvement in Dales & Peaks since our conception in 2006. In 2017 Tom joined Dales & Peaks full time to develop our growing sales division, update the company's marketing and bring the company into its second generation. Since starting, Tom has successfully rebranded the company, launched one of the most proactive sales agents in the local area, updated the company's tech and offering, and is going on to develop the sales team with amazing plans to drive the sales forward.

    Alex has been with us since 2013 and was recently promoted to the position of Lettings Manager. Over the years she has gained a wealth of knowledge in the letting industry and therefore able to pass on her expert advice to landlords.
