Last year most property sales in Chilthorne Domer involved terraced properties which sold for on average £200,871. Detached properties sold for an average price of £326,373, while semi-detached properties fetched £213,996.
Chilthorne Domer, with an overall average price of £220,501 was more expensive than nearby Yeovil (£201,257) and Ilchester (£176,787), but was cheaper than Montacute (£280,800).
During the last year, sold prices in Chilthorne Domer were similar to the previous year and 31% down on 2008 when the average house price was £317,500.
