The majority of sales in Dunmow during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £511,440. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £354,673, with terraced properties fetching £329,236.

Dunmow, with an overall average price of £390,892, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Little Dunmow (£397,336), but was cheaper than Great Dunmow (£437,596) and Felsted (£535,387).

Overall sold prices in Dunmow over the last year were 4% up on the previous year and 26% up on the 2015 level of £310,142.
