Last year most property sales in Fairburn involved detached properties which sold for on average £318,286. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £144,500, while terraced properties fetched £112,500.
Fairburn, with an overall average price of £220,833 was more expensive than nearby Leeds (£194,324), Castleford (£146,112) and Knottingley (£116,778).
During the last year, sold prices in Fairburn were 10% down on the previous year and 8% down on 2015 when the average house price was £239,883.
