Most of the sales in Hunwick over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £88,200. Detached properties had an average sold price of £216,083 and semi-detached properties averaged at £117,417.
Hunwick, with an overall average price of £132,056 was more expensive than nearby Crook (£111,289), Willington (£117,432) and Toronto (£103,334).
In the past year house prices in Hunwick were 8% up on the year before and 24% down on 2011 when they averaged at £172,791.
There were only 21 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
