The majority of sales in Middlemead during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £786,333. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £382,100, with terraced properties fetching £315,000.
Middlemead, with an overall average price of £581,023, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Danbury (£606,167), but was more expensive than Wickford (£330,044) and South Woodham Ferrers (£319,811).
Overall sold prices in Middlemead over the last year were 36% up on the previous year and 44% up on the 2015 level of £402,153.
There were only 22 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
