Most of the sales in Ryedown over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £598,292. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £289,529 and flats averaged at £200,333.
Ryedown, with an overall average price of £490,325 was more expensive than nearby Romsey (£341,516) and Lockerley Green (£457,466), but was cheaper than Whiteparish (£533,750).
In the past year house prices in Ryedown were 7% down on the year before and 12% down on 2015 when they averaged at £557,891.
