The majority of sales in Canterbury during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £300,796. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £307,567, with flats fetching £215,152.
Canterbury, with an overall average price of £320,215, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Sturry (£317,295), but was cheaper than Blean (£398,850) and Bridge (£404,918).
Overall sold prices in Canterbury over the last year were similar to the previous year and 9% up on the 2016 level of £293,800.
