Last year most property sales in Fairfield involved terraced properties which sold for on average £106,324. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £145,677, while detached properties fetched £284,717.

Fairfield, with an overall average price of £137,134 was cheaper than nearby Manchester (£202,229), Bury (£188,854) and Heywood (£144,034).

During the last year, sold prices in Fairfield were 11% up on the previous year and 13% up on 2016 when the average house price was £121,281.
