Arrangements were made for the personal assisted care I required and for freshly cooked meals to be brought to my apartment direct from the restaurant each day. A member of staff popped in regularly, happy to assist if necessary, even if it just meant making a welcome cup of tea and a chat. I felt safe knowing someone would answer my call bell and be with me immediately any time of day or night.

At Honeybourne Gate nothing is too much trouble in assuring that owners are happy and relaxed in a friendly environment. Gone are the days when going into care/assisted living meant living in fear of becoming ill or incapacitated and, as a consequence, being asked to move on.

Today I am well and my future is bright, I am enjoying taking pleasant walks along the old Honeybourne railway line and visiting the Churchill gardens. Very soon I hope to be taking the short walk into town.

Move into the right-hand lane and you will see our DRIVE-THROUGH ENTRANCE which takes you directly into the COURTYARD where there is visitor parking.



Here is our Owners' typical week at Honeybourne Gate.....

The week starts off with 'Puddle-ducks' swimming club here, with their toddlers, on Monday morning and again Friday morning. Then Tuesdays U3A visit for their Canasta club in the afternoon.

Wednesday is the popular Movie Matinee afternoon where the Owners are often treated to choc-ices and the movie is also repeated on a Sunday, due to its popularity.

Each Thursday morning is Pilates and in the afternoon, we have our extremely busy Tea Party when tea or coffee and wonderful home-made cakes are served! Future owners, who are in the process of moving, also regularly join in making many friends even before they arrive!

Friday evening is a very merry 'Happy Hour' in the welcoming owners' lounge with a selection of wine and bottled beers then Saturday 'brunch' is served in the restaurant at 12pm.

Ending the week on a high point is the Sunday roast which just gets better! Owners bring their friends and family for a super 3-course lunch, all for just £10.50 per head.

During the week lunch is served daily and we have a 4-week menu to whet your appetite plus, coffee is available every morning at 11am.

There's always a jig-saw to do, TV to watch or the piano to play. You can spoil yourself in the hair salon or, if you're feeling really energetic, you can spend time in the fitness gym; we have a fun exercise class and a water aerobics class.
