The house sleeps 12 at a stretch or six grown-ups and five kids very comfortably. The beach is golden sand and almost private, while the house is within easy reach of almost everything on the island, just 20 minutes from the port and the airport.

Located in the Aegean Sea, Skiathos is a small and very green island blanketed by a thick pine forest. It gets very popular in summer for its wonderfully clean and golden beaches, the aquamarine waters and the scenic countryside. Most popular beaches in Skiathos Island are located on the southern side, while the northern side has more calm and secluded spots. Rocky outcrops at the end of the beaches make them perfect for snorkelling. Skiathos can be reached by airplane (daily in the summer) or by boat from both the Ports of Volos and Agios Konstantinos. (You can reach both ports by car. Agios Konstantinos is located at the "Agios Konstantinos" exit on E-75, 160km from the centre of Athens. Volos port can be accessed by taking the exit "Velestino" onto route 6, 307km from Athens and 181 from Thessaloniki).

The property comprises a spacious villa of 185 sqm, first built in 1963 as a summer family retreat and has recently been renovated to recapture the magic of this this extraordinarily beautiful treasure of a destination. It sits on a promontory high above the water in Tsirmokokalo, the island's most beautiful residential bay. The house was among the first 3 ever to be built on the island, which explains the magic of its unique location.
This property is quite simply one of the most exquisite houses on the island. The immediate coastline has remained miraculously virginal with its forests tumbling down to the sea. Nothing here needs to be overbuilt or fussy - the point of being in this house is to enjoy the sea, its own beach and the surroundings. The path leads down to the beach with possible access to a boat that for the owner to keep on a mooring.

All four bathrooms are simply laid out with mirrored cupboards over the basins and showers and there is also an outdoor shower at the back of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Accommodation: The property is a villa arranged in two levels, with 185 sqm of living space. The house is divided in three units. The main (lower) house, the middle and the top houses. The Lower House comprises an entrance hall; a comfortable sitting room; dining area with a kitchen off it and a utility room; a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, and a further bathroom. There is a second room off the living room that is in use as a serene reading room but the sofas are modular, so the room could easily be used as a second bedroom. All rooms lead onto the main terrace which is perfect for lounging or eating at a big table overlooking the sea. This terrace is covered and leads onto the slightly lower sun terrace. The Top House consists of one of the most romantic bedrooms in the world - and people who have stayed there will happily testify to this. The first bedroom has a double bunk above a little sofa, the second, two single beds and a small balcony facing the sea.
