Geroskipou is a traditional town and has one of the oldest churches in all of Cyprus, plus many historical buildings and museums. It is famous for making "Cyprus Delights" soft jelly sweets flavoured with rose water.
Although it has all the modern amenities like banks, internet cafes and trendy boutiques it is possible to wander the streets and find delightful old family stores, Tavernas and traditional coffee shops.
It now joins with Paphos Town and is a ten minute drive to Paphos Airport and only a five minute drive to the sea front.
Geriskipou also has a regular, reliable bus service and is an ideal setting for permanent living or for a relaxing holiday.
