Most arrive at the castle on foot from the village or they leave their cars at the very traditional Es Verger restaurant, known for its lamb dishes. The last part of the road starts at Es Verger or Es Pouet and goes right up to the gateway of the castle; it is an old bridle path used by donkeys to carry loads up to the castle. Walking under the shade of the evergreen oaks along an old stone path, one approaches the majestic rock crowning the mountain.
