This stunning villa was built in 1905-1906 by one of the most promising venetian architects, Guido Costante Sullam, considered one of the greatest interpreters of the Austrian Art Nouveau. Considered a true architectural gem, the house distinguish itself by an originality that will remain unmatched, and which at the time created a stir among the more conservative critics. Today, even if its appearance has been transformed by subsequent interventions, it maintains all its incredible charm. The property has an articulated plant, characterized by the constant connection between interior and exterior spaces through large balustrades, terraces and balconies that occupy more than half of the perimeter of the villa, such as the spectacular terrace that opens into an elegant double staircase to the garden. Among the external decorative elements stand out glazed ceramics, the large stained glass windows, the wrought iron with geometric/floreal motifs in support of the gutters, in the external stair railing, on the first floor windows, the iron roof beaten with stained glass (liag˛). The interior is equally unusual, with environments that communicate with each other thanks to a particular game of light and reflections from the filtered stained glass windows and an oval-shaped living room which opens on the surrounding rooms, the wide stunning living area and an elegant dining room with bowwindow. The particular central staircase that leads to the upper sleeping area is characterized by the ornamental motif of the balustrade, as well as by the two lampposts at the ends of the gallery, by thin capitals wooden columns with pictorial decorations in "chiaroscuro", also present on the slab coffered.
In a prime location between the beaches of Lido di Venezia and the "Gran Viale", from where boats leave for the nearby Venice, this property offers the charm of a residence that evokes the golden age of the island, surrounded by a lush landscaped garden. The proximity to the beach makes the location a perfect destination for lovers of the summer season and romantic walks with magnificent views of Venice in the background.
