A few words about Souni:

Situated on the foothills of Troodos Mountain, the area is famed for its wineries and its local flora, which is dominated by pine, olive and carob trees. It is a quite area with proximity to Erimi (7kms) Episkopi (8kms) and Kolossi (9kms) large towns where supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, bars, banks and shops can be found. The famous Kourio beach, one of the best beaches in Limassol is 10kms away.The actual village in Souni has a tavern, couple of mini markets, a kebab take away shop and a school. There are also large supermarkets in close by Erimi and Episkopi as well as an Alfa Mega Supermarket in Kolossi. If you prefer to shop in Anexartisias street in the City center then it will take you 20 minute’s drive, or if you prefer a department store, My Mall the largest shopping center in Limassol is only 14 minutes away. For the outdoor kind of people Souni is great as there are virtually hundreds of pathways into the forest where you can hike (or take your dog for long walks). There are some bike trails for the adventurous, or you can try your stamina on the Kantou-Souni road, a road where many international bike teams train every year. Lastly there are horse stables in Kourio and Acrotiri with some good livery facilities for the horse lovers. There are also competitions around the year for dressage and jumping for the more competitive types.
