La Llacuna is a large flat region located high up in the La Safor mountains and here is a huge national park with endless vast country side full of wildlife, there are fresh water mountain springs and magnificent country side with fantastic scenery which is a pure delight to explore on foot, on animal or on wheels, the river Serpis flows through the valley below along the old railway line now very popular with local hikers and cyclists.
