What is the area like?

Gulluk is a lovely small unspoilt resort, which is located on Mandalya Bay, on the Aegean Sea, to the north of the Bodrum peninsula.

Its location remains popular for many as it is only a 10 minute drive from the Bodrum International and Domestic Airport terminals, and the roads over the last year or so have undergone major improvements and are nearing completion, making a vast improvement for the resort.

The resort is famous for its vast array of fish restaurants; the catch is brought in daily by the small fishing boats into the original harbour.

Along the promenade, you will find new coffee shops, lovely traditional style eating houses, a mix of old and new something to tempt everyone.

As the resort has grown over the last few years, there is a good selection of supermarkets, local shops, and banks as well.

In keeping with everywhere else in Turkey, there is a fantastic street market here on a Thursday, where you will find everything fresh fruit, vegetables, spices, clothes everything in plentiful supply.

In the evenings the waterfront in the season, becomes a pedestrian only great to walk and enjoy the scenery, sit in one of the restaurants, and watch the fabulous sunset going down across the bay, something you will never tire of.

Where are the villas?

These wonderful villas are set in an elevated position enjoying stunning sea, hill, bay and marina views. They are situated in a quiet residential area, just a five-minute walk from the beach, shops and restaurants mentioned above.

There are several small beaches to choose from, as well as a small beach club offering boat trips, which still leave from the small traditional old harbour. However, the new marina, which, when full will hold 370 vessels and small yachts are now starting to grace these new landing areas.

There is still work to be done around this area, and there will be more small bars and restaurants in time, so it’s still a marina in the making, and not yet completed fully. However, this year there is a yacht club perched by the marina, offering good facilities.

Once all the facilities are complete this will have an impression on the property prices in the area, so this really is a good time to invest.
