Full description:

Sokraki is a pretty Corfiot village in the mountains, it has a wonderful traditional atmosphere. The house is on the roadside, with beautiful far reaching views.

At the moment the upper and lower floor have not been connected by an internal staircase as the present owners intended to have two separate accommodations.

The front door in the centre of the house is at road level and leads straight into the large living room. This has two large patio windows leading out onto a terrace with breathtaking views towards the north coast of the island and all the mountains and villages in between. To one side is a double bedroom which enjoys the same view, and at the other side with a window on the other side is a large modern shower room.

Downstairs and accessed from the side, is a separate apartment. This has a similar layout to upstairs, but is cooler and shadier. There is a large living room which has some huge rocks in one corner, showing how the house was constructed many years ago! There is a double bedroom and a large shower room as above, but also a kitchen down a few steps which is actually below the terrace.

In addition, a stone built building, presently used as a workshop is separate from the main house. This is obviously useful in its present role, but there is space for it to be a bedroom and shower room.

Most of the land is below the house and has many olive trees and fig trees. There is plenty of space for the construction of a swimming pool which would also enjoy the lovely relaxing views.
