The vines are composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet-Sauvignon for the high-quality red wine, while the grape varieties of the white wine consist of mainly Sauvignon. The soil is clay limestone on rock. The rows of vines are planted at 2 m with about 5000/5500 plants per hectare.

Located close to all amenities and 30 minutes from Bordeaux, its TGV station and its international airport (2 hours from Paris with the LGV line).

Wines

There are several ranges of wines -AOC Bordeaux Supérieur for the red wine, AOC Bordeaux Rosé wine and AOC Bordeaux Blanc Sec for the white wine. The château has 2 different registered brand names for the red wine.
The wine is mainly sold to the Bordeaux wine trade and to 7/8000 retail customers. The wine received various gold and silver medals for the wines.
With the farming contract there are 2 additional 'Château' brand names.

Farm buildings

There are approx. 2045 m²of farm buildings; a store, offices of 75 m², a winery of 1000 m², a barrel of 550 m², and a storage shed of 220 m². (the measurements are approximate). There is also a large reception room used for the harvester's meals.

Recent modernization of the winery, with an increase in the number of vats and improvement of the installations. The vats are thermo-regulated. The objective is to modernise while respecting tradition and increasing the quality of the product. There are 6 full-time employees.
