Las Lagunas is one of the largest residential areas of Mijas and is located just outside of Fuengirola. The area has grown through the years as the population increased. These days it is a vibrant suburb with many shops, bars, restaurants, sports facilities and a popular theatre. The area also offers great access to Mijas pueblo, Mijas Costa, Fuengirola and Malaga airport.
Situated 10 mins from Mijas pueblo and 25 mins from Malaga Airport is the bustling town of Fuengirola, a very popular destinations on the Costa del Sol. The town has a lovely long sandy beach, great transport links and fantastic range of activities for the whole family. Fuengirola was formerly a small fishing village that has grown over the last 30 years but still retains some of its old village charm with beautiful plazas and small winding streets in the old quarter.
