17th century stone farmhouse occupying a private panoramic plot, a few steps from the sea, lying on the top of the charming Versilia hills, with stunning views over the city of Camaiore, framed by the majestic Apuan Alps in the distance.
The entrance driveway leads you to a wide space used as parking shelter near the property which maintains clean and simple lines of the typical rural buildings, coexisting in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
Surrounded by a spacious courtyard, the building, standing on two levels, is located on the top of a large sloping ground of about 26.500 sqm, partly planted with more than 100 olive trees and partly woodland. The original building, dating back to the 17th century, underwent a complete and fine renovation in 1998, still being in excellent maintenance condition.
This restoration has carefully preserved the characteristic finishes of the Tuscan country houses such as cotto floorings, ceilings with exposed wooden beams and cotto tiles, fireplaces, stone staircase, roof wooden layer with tiles' covering, brick undereave, together with modern plant comforts, and finishes of high build quality.
From the terraced and panoramic courtyard, ideal setting for lunches and dinners outdoors, you access the ground floor consisting of a passage of entrance, a stone stairwell, a room used as studio with fireplace (usable, if desired, as sixth double bedroom), in addition to a wide and convenient living space of more than 75 sqm boasting two further wonderful fireplaces and divided into dining and relax areas with sofas.
Through a hallway, where you find a bathroom and a spacious pantry/laundry room, you access a large and characteristic kitchen with a masonry structure, where blue-coloured and floral majolica stand out.
On the outside, conveniently connected to the kitchen, there are a large veranda and a wonderful patio with oven and barbecue which maintained the original masonry structure made of perimeter stone, replacing the covering with textile drapes, a romantic and cosy setting evoking positive emotions where to have dinner by the candlelight with your dear ones.
On the first floor, the sleeping area is characterized by large inclined wooden beams and comprises five spacious double bedrooms, of which one with en-suite bathroom, besides two further bathrooms accessed by the hallway, and a lovely loft with wooden staircase, connected to the kitchen downstairs, usable as studio or children's play area.
This property, having an unbeatable quality/price ratio, also includes a panoramic and well-groomed garden which features a wonderful swimming-pool measuring 10 mt by 3 mts

Massarosa, town of Roman origins, is a major tourist, agricultural and industrial centre, located to the west of Viareggio between Sarzanese road and Massaciuccoli lake and has a territorial structure spread among hills, plains and lakes. The area is dotted with a lot of exclusive villas (dating back to the 16th and 19th centuries), villages and historical churches. Massarosa is also well known for its natural beauties, especially for the famous Massaciuccoli Lake inside the natural Park of Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli. The park extends along the coastline between Pisa and Lucca and also includes the former Presidential Estate of San Rossore, the pinewoods of Tombolo and Macchia Lucchese. In 2005 the Park was awarded with the European Diploma of Protected Areas and, thanks to its rich fauna, is a LIPU oasis, as well. The most outstanding hilly areas, if considered from a panoramic point of view along the shoreline, are Corsanico, Bargecchia, Mommio Castello, Montignano and Pieve a Elici, where one can appreciate breathtaking natural sights, historical and artistic beauties, immersed in the greenery and tranquility. From those hilly areas, the centre of Massarosa, the seaside and the beaches of the famous Versilia Riviera can be conveniently reached by car in just a few minutes. The hilly hinterland allows to go walking, cycling or horse riding on the old paths of the pilgrims along the Via Francigena.
