Javea is situated between Valencia and Alicante on the southeast coast of the Costa Blanca, Spain with the magnificent backdrop of the Montgo mountain.
It is split into 3 areas, The Old Town, Javea Port the Javea Arenal Beach. The Old Town has a vibrancy and personality all of its own, with so much history.
Javea Port once a fishing village is still operating to supply many local towns and restaurants with their daily ‘catch’. The local Church consecrated in 1967 and dedicated to the fishermen of the area and built with the ceiling representing the bottom of a fishing boat. The esplanade in the Port is host to many summer concerts and firework displays. Always a popular area, with many restaurants, tapas bars, shops and cinema.
Further along the coast road, with the crystal blue Mediterranean as your guide on the left, the blue flag Javea Arenal Beach is a particularly popular beach with locals, holidaymakers and families, and offering all the amenities within easy walking distance from the beach.
