Attached to the house is a spectacular stone barn that has a footprint of 225m2. This is currently used partly as garaging and storage, but it also includes two stables. Equestrian pursuits are well catered for in the local area with plenty of quiet lanes for hacking out and local equestrian clubs offering a range of activities.

There is a smaller stone barn of around 90m2 attached to the large barn, this one is used primarily for hay storage. A stone workshop of 60m2 is currently utilised for the renovation of old motorcycles....if required, this could certainly be developed into additional living accommodation, perhaps as a gite.

Set within the grounds is the well (which has a pump installed) along with further outbuildings including a piggery, a hen coop and a firewood store. The vegetable garden has a polytunnel and there are numerous fruit trees. There are three fenced, grass paddocks, covering around 3.5 acres in total.

There are some spectacular open views to enjoy across the verdant countryside of the Parc Naturel Regional Perigord-Limousin. There are just two other properties in the peaceful hamlet yet the local village of Saint Mathieu is just 5 minutes drive. The village has a supermarket, two boulangeries, a bar, a restaurant, bank, doctor and pharmacy, in addition to a popular leisure lake.
