It is situated about 500 feet above sea level, and offers stunning mountain views to the south and views over the Bay of Hania and the Rodopou Peninsula to the north.

Although The Mill is in a secluded location, it offers easy access to the surrounding country side and coast. Local amenities including mini-markets, a baker, tavernas, pharmacy, garage and the like are available in Tavronitis, less than 10 minutes drive from the Mill.

The Mill is about 10 minutes from the shops and fishing village of Kolyimbari, 20 minutes from the Blue Flag beaches at Platanias and Agia Marina, and 30 minutes from the beautiful Venetian harbour town of Hania.

The living area at the Mill comprises a sitting area, snug, dining area and kitchen, positioned around the original Venetian millstones. The dining area can accommodate 12 people.

The Mill has a fully equipped kitchen complete with American style fridge/freezer and microwave.

The Mill is equipped with an oil fired central heating system. It has two triple En-suite Bedrooms on the Ground floor and two twin En-suite Bedrooms on the Mezzanine floor. The beds are purpose made and of traditional Cretan design.

One of the twin bedrooms on the Mezzanine floor has its own private terrace with stunning views of the Bay of Hania.

The Mill has its own private garden to the rear of the property from which is accessed the terraced 9.5m x 5.0m swimming pool with sun-loungers and parasols. The depths vary from about 1.4m to 2.2m. There is also a small adjacent 60cm deep paddling area.
