CIVITAQUANA - Pescara Province
This historic town is located on a hill at 550 metres above sea level. The oldest part is medieval although archaeological findings point to the existence of an ancient Roman settlement.

Civitaquana is ideally located close to the mountains, national parks and Adriatic. There are several well-equipped ski resorts about one hour’s drive from the town. The surrounding area is brilliant for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and rock climbing.
