The house is situated in a very quiet, rural old village, called Aigues Vives, in the heart of the Minervois wine region. It is a few minutes drive from France s second most visited place after the Eifle tower; the Medieval city of Carcassonne. The Mediterranean beaches are in easy reach by car and the Spanish border is a two hour drive away. There are regular direct flights by Ryanair into Carcassonne Airport, from Liverpool, Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands, Dublin, Glasgow and others. It is also a very easy driving route, avoiding many motorway toll roads. The village nestles in a valley between the Corbieres and the Black mountains. The house itself has four large double bedrooms, all of which can easily accommadate either a double bed, or twin beds, together with all the other customery bedroom furniture.
