Santa Domenica Talao is the perfect place to find the REAL Italy. Set on the side of a hill overlooking mountains to the east and the blue Mediterranean sea to the west.
The house is set just off the main street down steps between traditional Italian homes.
The property is on the end of a block of houses occupying the first and second floor. From the lounge and the main bedroom window the views are spectacular with the open valley, hills and sea.
As you climb the steps to the front door you enter into the hallway with the marble stairs straight ahead. To the left the newly fitted bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and bath/shower. Along the corridor to the kitchen with a feature fireplace and recently fitted units. Through the kitchen you enter the lounge, which has a sofa bed, rug and coffee table that are included in the price.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a Juliette balcony with double doors. The second bedroom has storage space in the eaves of the roof.
All downstairs windows have wooden shutters that close outside the glass to keep the house cool in the heat of the summer.
All floors are Italian tiled.
Scalea, is the nearest town and is on the beach. It has all the facilities needed including supermarkets, local markets, restaurants, coffee shops and Italian fashion.
Fly into Lamezia which is a two hour drive along a stunning coast road
Naples airport is a three hour drive, or catch the train into Scalea from either airport.
