The house

The house is surrounded by around 2000 m2 of gardens, with a fenced lawn area, and a variety of trees. The front door leads in to the hallway. Upstairs, there are four further bedrooms. The master suite has a dressing area with wardrobes, a spacious bedroom with ceiling fan, double doors opening to the views, windows to a further two sides, and an ensuite bathroom with double shower cubicle, towel radiator, toilet, bidet and two basins with cupboards and drawers under. There is a second suite with bedroom, walk in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, toilet, bidet and basin with cupboards and drawers under. Gymnasium and Pool

Rustic steps lead down from the gardens to the pool area. A large thatched gazebo houses the well equipped gymnasium, and the 10m x 5m swimming pool is surrounded by open terrace. There are changing rooms by the pool.

Equestrian Centre

More steps lead down from the pool area to the equestrian centre. This is divided into several parts, and the first part you reach is the horse walker, which is electrically controlled for four horses. The main stable block is a large building, and has accommodation for horses and staff. There are a total of 7 indoor boxes, and they are well equipped, with cooling fans and a roof designed to keep the internal air clean. Outside, there are a further four boxes, and one of these is equipped with infra red heating for drying the horses after using the horse showering facility. There are two tack rooms, one small and one larger. Also there is a bathroom, a store room and a small bedroom. Upstairs, the staff apartment is well equipped, with a living room with ceiling fan, an outside first floor terrace, a kitchen with floor and wall cupboards, stone worktops, electric hob and extractor, and sink, a double bedroom with ceiling fan and wardrobes, and a bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and basin.Outside, there is a grain silo and hopper for horse feed storage. There are three paddocks for the horses, and also there is a 62 metre x 22 metre riding arena with Geotextile surface, and integrated irrigation and lighting. This provides for the addition, if required, of a standard 60m x 20m dressage ring. Additionally, there is a two storey storage building and a hay loft. Near to the arena, there is an exercise ring, a chicken pen and further down, a duck pond.

The long driveway to the house is tree lined, and there is an alternative access from the electric front gate down to the equestrian centre. Near to the gate is a storage building with 2 rooms.

At the present time the staff employed consists of a couple who manage all apects of looking after the estate, including cooking, cleaning, maintenance and some equestrian duties. They have worked at the property for 16 years and would be availalbe to continue to work for a purchaser, if required.
