This 17th Century manor house and outbuildings is set in approximately a hectare (2½ acres) of grounds. The property is secluded in the countryside to the North-East of Figeac in the Lot and from the grounds there are spectacular views towards the distant Cantal Mountains. Within the grounds there is a separate vegetable garden, landscaped gardens and lawns and there is a small wooded area. 

The village of Latronquière is just 3kms away where there is a well-stocked supermarket, two bakeries, a post office, bank, bar, hairdresser, petrol sales and a car repair garage and, within a 35 minute drive, there are the larger towns of Figeac, Aurillac, Maurs and Saint Céré.

The main house has seen many refurbishments over its long history with the last being carried out by the present owners between 2005 and 2007 after a fire destroyed part of the building.  This last renovation was carried out so that the original 17th Century character of the property was retained whilst providing the interior with modern comforts. The property was provided with a new insulated roof, new hardwood double glazed windows and shutters and all external walls were fully insulated. A new septic tank was installed and the electrics and plumbing renewed throughout. Gas central heating with thermostatic radiator valves was installed and the heating throughout the house is supplemented by a wood-burning stove.

The accommodation within the main house can be used in different ways - it could revert to being be a large, 13-roomed house with 4 bathrooms or, as at present, a  2-bedroomed gîte on the lower ground floor, a 2-bedroomed gîte on the ground floor and 3-bedroomed owner's accommodation split over three floors. In the grounds there is the third gîte - a detached 2-storey building with one bedroom which was completely renovated in the spring of 2017.

There is yet another separate building in the grounds, formerly a bakehouse, which has been converted into a games room. There is also a large garage/workshop and 2 timber sheds/cabins.
