offers a cultural offering that sets standards and is the
hotspot for creative people. Berlin is large and diverse.
Here something is offered for everyone, from night life to
cultural enjoyment. From the east corner of
Alexanderplatz, the six-lane street now known as
Frankfurter Allee leads via the oval-shaped Strausberger
Platz to the Friedrichshain City Hall. The former Stalin-
Allee is an impressive example of the architecture of the
neo-classical style and the main artery of the
Friedrichshain district. The former "Stalin Allee" was the
showpiece of the GDR leaders who wanted to build wel-lequipped
workers' flats along a "socialist" main street. The
Frankfurter Allee is one of the oldest streets of Berlin.
This building is located directly at Frankfurter Tor, where
the subway line 5 and Metro Tram M10 guarantee a
connection in all four directions. Just 1 km away, the ring
of the suburban train can be reached. Here the road is
also crossed by the line M10 and the lines M13 and M16.
In addition, a lively scene with a colorful audience can be
found. Students, artists and long-established people meet
here. Directly around the corner you will find the
"Boxhagener Kiez" with the bars on Simon-Dach-Straße.
There are countless cafes, bars, restaurants, boutiques
and galleries. A lot of popular night clubs are in the area as
well. On the weekend, the markets invite you to stroll. The
central location is ideal for experiencing Berlin and
discovering it on your own.

internationally unique monument was designed 1952 by
the architects collective around Hanns Hopp and was
completed by 1956. The architects planned the buildings
based on the Berlin Classicism, but also used Neo-Gothic
and Baroque formal characteristics. The resulting
buildings were built from the rubble of the bombed-out
city. The residential and commercial buildings, which
extend from the Strausberger Platz upon the Frankfurter
Tor to the Frankfurter Allee, where designed for the
people as ?palaces" and should represent the strength and
ingenuity of the GDR.
Today's Frankfurter Allee is therefore characterized by
these apartment buildings from the 1950s where this
unique apartment unit is located. This uniqueness of the
entire ensemble makes living and working in this
monument into something special. The buildings consist
of a solid masonry construction with steel and concrete
slabs and the supporting structure of the complex consists
of solid brick walls.
Each apartment will be sold based on the interior "as
it stands and lies".
In addition, all risers (water and electricity) were
replaced in 2012 and the windows have also been
renewed as well. The facade of the Frankfurter Allee with
all the details repaired according to conservation
guidelines where necessary. In addition
the elevator has been renewed and the staircase is
