This beautiful property is extremely stylish and has been decorated with taste. The property has been laid out in a very practical way, being that the bedrooms are to one side of the house and the living room and kitchen to the other.

If we go directly from the living room through the patio doors, we are lead straight onto the swimming pool area. This area is so relaxing and you can just imagine yourself either first thing in the morning with your coffee or last thing at night with your glass of wine.

Beside the swimming pool area, is a closed patio that is currently being used as a gym but could easily be turned into a studio for friends and family to stay in when they visit. Close to this is another covered area which has access to the "adega" which is just being used as storage and as a work shop. From this space, there is a door that leads into the kitchen.

The property is set in a friendly village and walking distance to a café.

The village belongs to the parish of São Pedro which has all the amenities such as cafés, restaurants, pharmacy, doctor surgery with English speaking doctor and ATM.

Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century is around 10 minutes away.

To Castelo de Bode lake it is only around 5 km. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing.

The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing on sunny days at the water's edge.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' drive from the cottage, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
