The town is on two levels: the lower part by the lake, and the higher part that requires some up-hill walking on cobbled streets and staircases.

A few cosy streets are filled with shops and restaurants in central Bellagio, so you can easily explore most of them. It is highly recommended to walk to Punta Spartivento. It's the point at the very end of the peninsula, where Lake Como splits into two.
