DRAPANOS is a year-round, traditional village with a well-stocked mini market and two popular tavernas located less than 10 minutes drive to the white, sandy beaches in Almirida. Both tavernas serve delicious Cretan meals and there is a good menu to choose from. The village centre is withing walking distance to the house. The Year-round town of Kefalas is less than 5 minutes drive away. Kefalas offers a few tavernas, one of them with a huge stone fireplace for winter dining and stunning sea views.
