El Mojon is a small coastal town located on the Mediterranean Sea and close to the Mar Menor and the larger towns of Lo Pagan and San Pedro del Pinatar.

The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar is positioned between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor Sea and offers 14kms of coastline with picturesque promenades and sandy beaches. The town of San Pedro itself is medium sized with all the necessary services and amenities, an array of cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and a weekly street market selling locally grown produce.

The adjoining beach area of Lo Pagan is home to the famous therapeutic mud paths located next to the iconic old windmill " Molino de Quintin". Close by is the Natural Park and Salinas ( Salt Lakes ) de San Pedro an important wetland and stopping point for migratory birds and home to flocks of flamingos. The salt lakes are still used to produce salt - an important industry dating back to Roman times. Within and around the park are cycle paths and footpaths. On the edge of the Salinas is San Pedro Marina providing mooring for sailing boats, a harbour for fishing boats and a lovely area to sit and relax with cafes, bars and restaurants.

On the edge of San Pedro town is the Pinatar Arena Sports Centre which is an important training ground for premier league footballers, but is also open to the public with a Spa centre, heated indoor pool, gymnasium, beauty salon, physio department, sports shop, restaurant and bar.

There is a bus station in the town centre of San Pedro and motorway access next to the town. Bike hire is readily available. Corvera ( Murcia ) airport is a 30 minute drive away and Alicante just under an hour. The town of Balsicas is 15 minutes away and has a train station which goes to Cartagena and Murcia City and then to the rest of Spain. By road the city and port of Cartagena is a 30 minute drive and Murcia City, 25 minutes.

An easy 15 minute drive north, up the motorway, takes you to the popular La Zenia Boulevard a large retail and leisure development and the newly extended Dos Mares shopping mall is in the next town of San Javier, less than 10 minutes away.
