Charming house with magnificent views of the old town and the port.

You might prefer a more modern style, but what the pictures do not show is the perfect state of the house which makes it the perfect base of something truly stunning which can be enjoyed ALL YEAR ROUND. The villa is owned by an elderly couple, that plays jazz for fun all over the island. Therefore the house breaths jazz. Books have been written here and lots of music has been made. It has been truly inspirational for the current owners, but now comes the time to find something smaller. Besides having all legal documentation in order to prevent any surprises, the owners have been maintaining the property and the gardens with lots of love and attention. In 2003 a guesthouse was built, adding another 80 m2 to the existing main house.

Location & Privacy
The villa is hidden on the first hill (106m)opposite Ibiza Town with stunning views on the old town, the cathedral, the ancient walls and, behind all that, the blue Mediterranean Sea and the island of Formentera. In the night you see the city with thousands of lights. What is more romantic than that? So close to Ibiza, yet one can walk around naked without any neighbors being able to peek. The house is definitely not easy to be found, a narrow, hidden, dead-end road leading to its gate, which make it a more difficult target for people with bad intentions.

The main house of little over 120 m2 exists of two layers, with on the top floor a master bedroom with bathroom and a spacious terrace of 26m2 with an unbelievable panoramic view on Jesus, Talamanca, Ibiza Town and of course the sea. On the ground floor, there are two (double bed) bedrooms, a bathroom, a salon with fireplace, a kitchen and a storage room with access to the backside of the house. The kitchen opens up to the terrace, as does the salon. Let's be honest, when living on the island, we only go back inside to sleep or go to the fridge. Ibiza life mainly is outside. On the photo, it seems like the terrace has shade, but it does not. We, unfortunately, had to deal with some clouds. The terrace is sunny all day starting with the magnificent sunrise.

Guesthouse / Apartment
Going through the mature garden one gets to the separate guest house of 80m2. This has a very cozy salon, an open plan kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms of which one is used for storage. This apartment has its own private terrace of 24 m2 and its own garden.

Terraces and a Beautiful Garden
Exterior: the house is set on 3.100 m2 of land. The exterior starts when walking from your salon on to the spacious, very private terrace of 210 m2 including a pool of almost 40 m2. There is plenty of space to catch some sun, a seating area, and a dining area to host some nice dinner parties under the Ibiza skies. Furthermore, the garden, which looks like a little park, is full of nicely groomed mature plants, trees and benches to enjoy. The whole premises are completely fenced in and an electric gate leads to the land and the house.

A/C throughout (just been placed), open log fireplace, Central Heating throughout.

water is coming from the water wells which means that it is extra clear.
