The villa was completed in 2004 and has been used by my family since then. We have had many happy years using the villa but with all children now grown up it's sadly time to sell.

I worked with the builder to enhance the property beyond the original spec, including double sized terrace, a larger swimming pool with terrace, a separate self-contained guest house and traditional features and stoned walls.

The villa has four double bedrooms, one bedroom is downstairs which is ideal for older relatives.
The master bedroom has a large ottoman bay window and a balcony with views of the sea. It also has an en suite with shower. The second bedroom upstairs also has a balcony overlooking the pool and sea. All upstairs bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

There are 2 bathrooms and 1 WC in the villa.

The living room is very large and on two levels, perfect for the entire family. The kitchen is fitted with traditional wooden cupboards, granite worktops, bay window with seats and triple aspect views.

Outside area is fantastic and it's been maintained by a gardener. The villa sits in the middle of the plot, with garden on four sides.
There is a pagoda with tiled roof and built in BBQ with cupboards underneath.
There is a large outside table that sits 8 - 10 people. To the back of the property is the olive grove and views of the foothills of the mountains. I put a lot of thought into the garden to ensure there is always a shady area you can use and a place comfortable to enjoy the wonderful views.

The swimming pool is 10m x 5m and the deep end is deeper than the standard pool. There is large patio on the sea side of the pool and plenty of room for 10+ sun beds.

The villa is sold with all beds and basic furniture.

Alsancak is situated 6 miles west of Kyrenia. It's an old village with supermarkets, butchers, restaurants and still has it's original charm. The beach is 2.5km from the villa. There are a range of beaches from quiet and secluded to busy beaches with activities for children/adults and the option to rent water sports and sun beds. There are also some great restaurants situated on the beach.

There are a number of night clubs (although I can't say I've used them!) but we are not disturbed by the noise. Girne market is on a Wednesday and there is also a local market on a Saturday morning. There is a green golf course nearby and tennis courts just down the road by arrangement with the local hotel. The hotel also has spa and four swimming pools, one with slides. There are plenty of activities for all. There is a local English school 3 minutes away.

There are three crusader castles built into the mountains, Girne castle and Roman ruins all worth a visit.
