The property is detached and set back from a quiet, dead end road. There is a neighboring property nearby, however they are far enough apart to retain complete privacy.

The property has great curb appeal with its large stone pillars and automatic gates. The property can barely be seen from the road as it has walls guarding the property, again adding to its privacy.

The property's driveway is the typical Portuguese cobbles and it runs the full length of the property until the garage. the garage is a good size, plenty big enough for one vehicle and there is still room for storage. in the garage there is also a bathroom.

connecting the garage to the main house is a lovely pergola with great views of Ourem Castle. There are two side doors, one leading into the secondary kitchen which is where the barbecue is and the other leads into the kitchen/diner.

The main kitchen has lots of storage and worktop space and is flooded by natural light that comes through the lovely feature in the living room that is 3 extremely large windows and a door that enable the room to be flooded with natural light.

Underneath the property is a large basement which is the full size of the property. Here there is water and electric so it could easily be converted in more habitation. Down in the basement is where the machinery for the central heating is. There are two different options for the heating, you can either use pellets or wood. There are also solar panels for the hot water.

In the garden, there are various different types of trees and a bore hole which powers the automatic irrigation.

The property is situated close to the village of Peras Ruivas in central Portugal. The village of Peras Ruivas has a cafe and a small mini-market and is only four kilometres drive from the town of Ourem.

Ourem has several large supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, schools, pharmacies, health centres, builders merchants and an historic castle.

The larger, historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is only 18 kilometres from the property. Tomar is a popular town with a quaint historic centre with cobbled streets.
