The cottage is situated opposite a working dairy farm on the outskirts of the village of Plourac’h, where there is a village shop/bar (run by the local mayor). The beaches along the beautiful Pink Granite Coastline are with easy reach and the area is renowned for the fantastic walking and cycling routes.  

The nearby towns of Callac and Carhaix both have good amenities such as supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, doctors etc.  Thursday and Saturdays are market days, where you can join in all the hustle and bustle or just sit back with a coffee and watch the world go by. 

This part of Brittany has great links with the UK.  There are the Roscoff and Saint Malo ferry ports and the airports at Dinard, Brest and Rennes.  The cottage is also just 30mins from Guingamp which has a TGV route direct to Paris.
