Approached into the hallway with stairs rising to the first floor, plenty of storage and a downstairs cloakroom. The living space invites you to explore further into the open plan kitchen-diner-family room, which has the potential to feel huge but achieves a very cosy feel, French doors open out onto a patio. The sun terrace patio with open views across the ford and the Cutwell valley. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with a Butler sink and a range of integrated appliances including an Esse range electric oven with a wood burning companion on one side, Neff dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier separate fridge and freezer The granite island contains an integrated under counter sink, dishwasher and provides breakfast bar stool style seating.
Sliding internal double glass doors allow the triple aspect sitting room to be shut off to create a cosy room or opened to allow the house to be completely open plan. The Beswick limestone flooring runs continually through the ground floor, and a mains gas cast iron stove provides a lovely focal point on a cool evening.
Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, the main bedroom benefits from a large en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and built in wardrobes. The family bathroom is a good size with a bath and separate shower. There are some lovely features on this floor including one of the bedrooms having a handmade window seat to take in the glorious view.
Underfloor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs, Everest double glazed windows, under floor heated bathrooms and heated towel rails makes it a cosy home.
Outside the garden is tiered, stretching down to the road and offering beautiful trees including a Copper Beech and an Acer, the garden is larger than it seems and almost needs to be entered to see what a great size it is. It has been cleverly landscaped to provide areas to make the most of the tranquillity and the view, with a variety of fruit and nut trees and mature shrubs in the lower garden and a raised patio close to the house which makes the most of the view.
A gravelled parking area for several cars is in addition to parking on the drive, and a storage area at the back of the house has a large shed and plenty of room for those unsightly items.
Tetbury, often referred to as the gateway to the Cotswolds, and once voted by Country Life magazine as the third most desirable town in the country, is a thriving historic Cotswold market town situated less than half an hour from both the M4 and M5 motorways and within easy reach of Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol and Swindon.
