** Have you got a place to sell? Talk to New Home 4U, which is an ‘Award Winning’ Estate Agent for ‘Exceptional Sales’ for the past 2 years that puts us in the TOP 3% of Estate Agents in the UK, backed by Rightmove and The Property Academy **

Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, ‘’like no other estate agent in Flintshire”.

This is the sort of home that is reminiscent of grander times, when policemen drove Wolseleys, wore uniforms with baggy trousers and sounded as if they meant it when calling you Sir. Not that I remember obviously, but that is what I am told…
In those far off days, builders had good solid names like Stan or Norman, wore flat caps and smoked roll-ups containing nothing but tobacco as they worked. And how they worked, as the quality of the buildings they left behind testifies and this particular home is one such example.

A wide tarmac drive runs past the well tended front lawn with its surrounding flower beds before widening across the front of the home and providing additional parking space before continuing towards the attached garage at the side. There is a deep integrated porch to the front elevation offering protection to the front door and any out of season carol singers and where, beside the door your eye is caught by a very attractive diamond shaped stained glass window allowing additional light into the hall.

Opening the door and stepping into the hall, this home draws you in like a warm hug. On the left is a door into the large lounge which runs the full depth of the building, having originally been two separate rooms. The front facing portion benefits from a deep bay window overlooking the garden which has the effect of keeping the space bright and cheerful and leaves a room sufficiently spacious for extravagantly proportioned furniture should that be your taste.
The rear section is of an equal size but in here, instead of the ever present entertainment system the focal point comes in the shape of the large and ornate gas fire sitting in the faux marble fireplace.

Towards the rear the wall is almost wholly glass, with a completely glazed door opening into the dining room. As you would expect, this is a large room as demonstrated by the eight seat dining table which still allows enough room around it to accommodate various substantial items of furniture, including a traditional sideboard. In the back wall is a large set of French doors opening onto an area of decking which in turn overlooks the attractive and varied garden, but more of that later.

Returning to the hall, the remaining door opens into the galley style kitchen. Now before you start thinking of a typical galley kitchen, be aware that this is an altogether different sort of animal, being how a normal galley must look to a small child. Firstly it is far wider, allowing people to move past one another with ease and secondly, it seems to stretch off into the distance, providing all the space you could need for the long work tops and their accompanying integrated appliances beneath. One of the units includes a very clever storage system for tins, bottles and various condiments and while this may seem a small thing, these are something I always find very appealing and having used one make cooking so much more convenient.

At the rear of the kitchen the back door opens into the maintenance free garden. All too often the term ‘maintenance free’ also translates as ‘featureless’ but not here. Immediately greeting us is a large patio area flagged in what appears to be Indian stone, ideally proportioned for a large circular table and a BBQ area that begs for the sort of family gathering such a home is sure to encourage.
On the right is a garage door which unsurprisingly gives access to the attached garage making it unusual in that there are doors at either end.
Beyond the patio is a beautiful open sided gazebo style sitting area positioned on a plinth of traditional red quarry tiles, perfect for continuing the party when the weather turns against you. To the side of here is a lawn of artificial grass divided in two by a raised flower bed, the colour from which is further supplemented by additional pots dotted around the perimeter. At the side nearest the house is a section of raised wooden decking on which also sits a composite ‘wooden’ garden shed for additional storage.

Returning indoors and up the stairs we turn left towards the front of the home to the smallest of the bedrooms. This front facing room is frequently almost unusable other than for small children or persons of restricted growth but here we are presented with a pleasant surprise in the shape of a spacious single with enough room for a bedside cabinet, full sized wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Adjacent to this, the first of the double rooms benefits from a duplication of the large bay window found in the lounge beneath which makes the room delightfully bright. This light is further maximised by the reflections from the complete wall of mirror fronted fitted wardrobes, accommodating for the needs of the most determined fashionistas. These still leave enough room for twin bedside cabinets either side of the double bed, a formal dressing table in the bay of the window and a further bookcase/display unit.

A similarly proportioned room is found towards the rear, illuminated by a side facing window. Again this spacious room is aided by a large set of fitted wardrobes and a corner positioned airing cupboard also housing the gas combi central heating boiler, while still leaving masses of floor for free standing furniture.

Opposite here the family bathroom which, while utterly in keeping with the style and age of the home could be considered a little dated but then, class never really goes out of fashion. There is the expected suite of a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and a large corner bath with an electric shower above, in a carpeted room where the walls are tiled to full ceiling height.

At the far end of the landing we find the principal bedroom, somewhere else where space is the watchword. The large window overlooks the pretty rear garden and being away from the road at the front makes for a very peaceful sleeping environment. The finishing touch to the room comes in the form of the large en-suite, where we find a fully tiled room with a waterproof floor and which contains a hand basin with storage beneath, lavatory and corner positioned shower cubicle. This contains a twin headed rain shower drawing hot water directly from the combi boiler, ensuring it never runs cold when you least expect it which can take the shine off anyone’s morning.
